In the effort to include and attract a more diverse group of participants and to better support the scholarships, leukemia & lymphoma research and local families that the WRMF has been dedicated to for the last three years, we are making a few changes to the format of the Fourth Annual Wayne Reber Memorial. We will continue the raffle, auction, dinner and live band. The anticipated changes will include moving the event to the Wallis Knights of Columbus Hall and having the MD Anderson Blood Bank on site from 9am -1pm. Also, due to the time constraints and the amount of volunteers needed to sponsor the bike run, we will no longer support the bike run as part of our event. This will help us to concentrate on the one site, make the event appealing to more of the community, and not overwhelm our volunteer staff. We expect these changes will be for the benefit of the cause, and we anticipate the Fourth Annual Wayne Reber Memorial to be even bigger and better than before. We appreciate your support in the past, and we look forward to seeing you August 30!
